Rebecca Humble


Rebecca is Co-Founder of Blackstone Legal Costing UK Ltd and a qualified Costs Lawyer with over 25 years’ experience. She is Co-Editor of the Costs Law Reports and is regularly instructed in high-value and technically demanding costs matters.

She has worked extensively on legal costs arising from personal injury and clinical negligence claims, including those involving serious and catastrophic injuries. Through Blackstone’s close connection with its Australian counterpart, where she also practised, she brings an international perspective that informs her approach to complex costs matters. Known for her strategic judgement, commercial awareness, and clear communication, she is trusted by clients to advise on the most challenging costs matters.

Teresa Glynn

Teresa qualified as a Fellow of the Association of Law Costs Draftsmen in 2004 and was among the first to qualify as a Costs Lawyer in 2007. She founded Partners in Costs in 1996 (now PIC Legal) and brings extensive experience across all aspects of legal costs.

Teresa is a Director of Blackstone Legal Costing UK Ltd and also serves as Director and Compliance Officer for Legal Practice at Andrew Isaacs Law, a specialist family law firm.

Reuben Glynn

Reuben qualified as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in 1999 and has held a number of senior leadership roles, including Director at Partners in Costs Ltd and Chief Executive Officer of A&M Bacon Ltd.

He is a Director of Blackstone Legal Costing UK Ltd and also serves as Director, Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration, and Money Laundering Reporting Officer at Andrew Isaacs Law Ltd, a specialist family law firm.

Kashera Brooks

Kashera read Law and completed the Legal Practice Course and LL.M at the University of Law. She regularly prepares Bills of Costs for Detailed Assessment, Replies, and Precedent H Costs Budgets, and advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including costs management and practical advice on costs recovery. Supporting fee earners throughout the lifecycle of a case, she helps ensure proportionality and procedural compliance.

Kashera has experience across high-value and complex claims, including clinical negligence, catastrophic personal injury, commercial litigation, immigration, and judicial review, and acts exclusively for Claimant Solicitors. Known for her meticulous and analytical approach, she provides clear, pragmatic advice on complex costs matters.

Kerry Ridley

Kerry is our Operations Manager, bringing over 25 years’ experience in the legal sector, including roles in Legal Costs Negotiation, Business Development and Marketing.

Danielle Thompson

Danielle leads our finance department. She holds an AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification and is currently advancing her expertise by studying for her ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
